Spammers need to die

Filed under: Uncategorized — dunks @ 3:43 pm

So after deleting around 3000+ spam posts from this blog, I’ve determined that spammers need to die a slow and painful death.  Sad part is I get each post in my inbox so that means each posted spam gets delete from my email.

So I have moved!

Recently I have moved all of my systems from one place to another to another, and now I have found a suitable home.  I hope to post here more often.

Vacation Day 1

Filed under: Uncategorized — dunks @ 7:53 am

I’ve gone out here to Manhattan KS to visit my sister.  Also found out that she is moving because her and her (now ex) boyfriend are breaking up after being together for a few years.   Shes moving into a trailor a little bigger then the one I live in now.  However she will be living by herself, and she’s on the outskirts of town with only 1 or 2 people living near by.  She is working at the moment and will be most of the day.

Finally on vacation!

Filed under: Uncategorized — dunks @ 1:55 am

Well, I got a call from my sister after I got home from work.  I’m going to head to her place in manhattan KS to help her move,  for those of you who arn’t aware of her, she’s behind the art work for the Geeks In Technology logo:

GIT Logo

We missed recording today due to lack of material on my part.  Oops.. just too busy.

I’m working on setting up Windows Vista RC2 for a review session on GIT next week.   As well as setting up many other OS’s for assisted troubleshooting as well. I’m installing OpenSuse 10.1, Windows 98, Windows ME, Fedora Core 5 and a few others to not only play with but also to learn.  I’m using VM technology (right now MS Virtual PC) so that I don’t have to dedicate a whole system to a single OS.

Who I am! - My first entry!

Filed under: Personal — dunks @ 9:56 am

Ok, this is my first personal blog. I’ve done several blogs for my podcast network, but never one as a “Life Journal” of what I am doing on a day to day basis.

First a little about me.

I’m Chris. Founder of CyberDunks Networks Stuidos. My current projects involve Geeks In Technology and This Month at Wal-Mart as well as another one that I havn’t done anything with for a long time called Technical Support. All the info for those is located at CyberDunks.Net.

I am a Wal-Mart Associate of 7 years. I currently work overnight as a Customer Service Manager.

I live in the little town of Higginsville Missouri, I love science fiction and I have a sci-fi forum on my server as well. I am a geek. I have 3 computer systems and 1 laptop. When I am at my desk, I am always using at least 2 of them at any given time.

My system specs are:

System1: Aka Dunks-1

This is my primary system I use for gaming and recording the podcasts. I also use this with VMWare Virtual Server to test other OS’s via Virtual Machine’s. I designate one virtual machine that isn’t briged, NATted or shared for surfing potentionally unsafe websites.
